The Last Frontier

Some Alaska love for all you out there.  I'll have to admit that I've never been anywhere else quite like this place and it's beauty is haunting.  You feel as if you have stepped back in time.

These images are from the summer of 2014 mostly taken around the Prince of Wales Island located in Alaska's Panhandle.  Apparently it is the 4th largest island in the United States.  Did not know that.

There will be a short video to accompany these images soon as well as a bunch more film shots that were taken over the past few years.

All images were taken with the Leica M 240 with the 21m 1.4 lens which I felt finally gave justice to the scenic landscapes one witnesses up in the great place of Alaska.
